ABOUT
Hi, I'm Bryn and I have a dog named "Yoda." I'm passionate about all things "dog" and all things "adult beverage," namely beer and wine. I've merged the things I love into one fun site.

Mission
​
A Dog Walks into a Bar will educate and entertain visitors by sharing informative and fun weekly posts that focus on pet ownership and the adult beverage industry. We aim to share a variety of posts focusing on dog friendly locations and events, fun adventures, DIY projects, recipes, giveaways and charitable causes. Our primary aim is to assist animal rescue organizations and philanthropic causes that help animals and our local community.

The blog was announced as a 2018 finalist for the BlogPaws Nose-to-Nose awards in the Best Humor Blog, Best Blog Photo and Best Video in a Sponsored post categories. We were announced as the winner of the Best Blog Photo Nose to Nose Award in a red carpet event emceed by the renowned, David Frei, the voice of the Westminster Dog Show.

A Dog Walks into a Bar was a 2017 finalist for the BlogPaws Nose-to-Nose awards in the Best Blog Photo and Best Video in a Sponsored Post categories. The site was also a finalist for the 2016 Nose-to-Nose award for the Best New Pet Blog category and was a finalist for the BarkWorld BarkTank book pitch competition. We have been featured in local news television, radio and print productions. Photos of Bean and Yoda also been featured on BarkPost, CuteOverload.com, Martha Stewart.com, and more.

To date, we have been able to donate over $10,000 worth of supplies, food, treats and money to local animal rescue organizations due to the generosity of the brands we have worked with, affiliate money earned, and prizes won.
​
Bryn, the primary writer on A Dog Walks into a Bar, has a background in Public Relations and Business. She has honed her public speaking skills and marketing knowledge over the years. As a bonus, she and her husband like beer and travel. Touch base, and we'll travel to you especially if there is beer and a dog or two we can smooch.

Yep, we can type (hurrah). Therefore, we're the ones sharing our insight and experiences pertaining to pups and drinks. The dogs are there for the cute factor and fun!
Bean - RIP
The One who Started it all:
Bean is well versed in testing dog products and posing for photos. She is the inspiration behind this whole endeavor. She will kiss you on the lips and fart in your face!
Yoda
The One who Just Joined Us:
Yoda recently joined our brood. He's getting used to living the good life (and being the product of photo taking). He'll partake in product testing too. He is a chill dude who uses the force for good!
